Tonkotsu Marinated Steak

This marinated steak is tender, juicy and full of flavor.

  • 2 pounds or 4 sirloin steaks
  • 7  tablespoons Yamasa Tonkotsu Ramen Broth
  • 2 teaspoons Yamasa Reduced sodium shoyu
  • 2 cloves garlic, mince
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 ½ teaspoons lemon juice


  1. Place the steak into a gallon Ziploc bag.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients until combined.
  3. Pour the marinade in the plastic bag making sure the steak is completely coated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat outdoor grill to medium high heat. Discard the marinade in the bag and grill the steak for 4 minutes per side, or until the steak is cooked to your liking.
  5. Once the steak is done, serve with a salad, over rice or vegetables and enjoy.
