Korean Style Corn Ribs

This is a fan favorite at any BBQ. Try this easy side to impress your family and guests.

  • 3 ears of sweet yellow corn
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons gochujang
  • 1 ½ tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ¾ tablespoons ketchup
  • ½ tablespoons Yamasa Regular Shoyu
  • Green Onion, sliced, for garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish


  1. Preheatoven or air fryer to 400°F and prepare a sheet pan lined with eitherparchment or foil.
  2. Ina small bowl, whisk together sugar, gochujang, rice vinegar, ketchup, soysauce, and minced garlic. Set aside until needed.
  3. On a cutting board, split the whole corn into quarters, lengthwise. Arrange the quartered corn on the lined sheet pan with some space in between each one. Bake the corn for about 20 minutes, or until the corn kernels develop some brown and becomes crispy.
  4. Brush the corn kernels with the prepared sauce and bake it for another 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish the corn ribs with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
